Eddie Redmain, Alex Sharp, Sasha Baron Cohen In Chicago in 1968, the Democratic Convention of Pari was met with protests by activists such as the moderate Democratic Students, led by Tom Hayden, and Ippy fighters, led by Abby Hoffman and Jerry Rubin, who led to violent clashes with local authorities. As a result, seven of the accused leaders are charged with charges such as ‘conspiracy’ by the hostile government of Nixon, including Bobby Seal of the Black Panthers, who was not involved in the incident. An unfair trial follows, presided over by Judge Hoffmann (unrelated) and followed by the reluctant but obligated Richard Schultz. As their pro bono attorneys face such opportunities, Hayden and his companions are frustrated by Ippy’s outrageous antics that undermine their defense in violation of the system, even when Seal has no chance of defending himself in his own way. Along the way, Chicago 7 clashes with their political philosophies, even as they learn they need each other in this fight.
